How Does the BEE WETT® Technology of the Apple Bee Condor Work?

When choosing luxury garden furniture, it is important that it can withstand changing weather conditions. The BEE WETT® technology from Apple Bee, used in the cushions of the Apple Bee Condor lounge set, offers a smart solution. This technology not only makes the cushions weather-resistant but also ensures extra convenience and comfort. In this blog, we explain how BEE WETT® works and why it is an ideal choice for your outdoor space.

1. What is BEE WETT® Technology?

The BEE WETT® technology is an innovative design by Apple Bee that has been specially developed for outdoor use. It combines durable materials and smart designs to make cushions weather-resistant without compromising on comfort.

The core of this technology lies in the unique combination of:

• Quick-drying foam: Water flows easily through the foam instead of remaining trapped inside.
• Ventilation and drainage: The cushions feature a special drain at the bottom, allowing moisture to escape quickly.
• Weather-resistant covers: The cushion covers are made of high-quality fabrics that are dirt- and water-repellent.

2. How Do BEE WETT® Cushions Work?

Water Drainage During Rain

When it rains, water does not penetrate the core of the cushion. Instead:

• Water flows directly through the special fabric layers.
• Excess water is drained away via the drainage system at the bottom.
This prevents cushions from becoming wet and heavy, even after a heavy downpour.

Fast Drying Time

Thanks to the quick-drying foam and the ventilating fabric, the cushions dry extremely fast. Within a few hours of a rain shower, the cushions are completely dry again and ready for use, meaning you don't have to wait to lounge.

3. Materials and Durability

The covers of the BEE WETT® cushions are made of Olefin fabric, a material known for its durability and colorfastness. This means that the cushions are not only resistant to rain but also to:

• UV radiation: The colors remain vibrant, even with prolonged exposure to sunlight.
• Stains and dirt: The fabric is dirt-repellent and easy to clean.

The use of quick-drying foam makes the cushions resistant to mold and unpleasant odors, making them ideal for outdoor use.

4. What Does This Mean for Convenience?

With BEE WETT® technology, you don't have to worry about weather forecasts. The cushions can remain outside all season long, which ensures:

• Time savings: No lugging cushions inside and outside.
• Always ready for use: The lounge set is immediately available after a shower.
• Longer enjoyment: The durable materials ensure a long lifespan for the cushions.

---

5. Maintenance of BEE WETT® Cushions

Although the cushions are designed to be weather-resistant, maintenance is important to keep them in top condition:

• Clean regularly: Rinse off dirt and dust with clean water or use a soft brush.
• Washable covers: For stubborn stains, the covers can be machine washed. Use a mild detergent and let them air dry.
• Storage in winter: Although not strictly necessary, it is recommended to store the cushions inside during the winter months for extra protection.

6. Why Are BEE WETT® Cushions Ideal for Luxury Garden Furniture?

The combination of comfort, durability, and weather resistance makes the BEE WETT® technology ideal for luxury lounge sets like the Apple Bee Condor. No other cushion solution offers such a perfect balance between style and functionality. Whether it is sunny, rainy, or windy, the Condor lounge set remains inviting and ready to use.
